Introducing Prom Queen: Jennifer V.

Updated: Aug 5, 2020

In my former life, I was a Junior Achievement volunteer in Houston. I had the pleasure of adopting a junior high school class and imparting all my wisdom upon them. It was one of many ways of giving back to my community. With this Prom King and Prom Queen portrait session, I figured I could do something similar and quite different. I thoroughly enjoy lifting others up and sharing their story. I want to celebrate each senior's own beauty because the world is in dire need of other definitions of beauty. Still, I also want everyone to know how talented these students are. And so, we present Jennifer V. from Houston, TX.

Jennifer was a Maverick Varsity cheerleader all four years at Pasadena Memorial High School. During her senior year, she was also the Cheer Captain. Quite an active senior, Jennifer was in theatre arts for four years and participated in The Orphan Train play. She also enjoyed playing coed volleyball during her Freshman and Sophomore year with the St. Christopher Catholic Youth Group.

Jennifer has the heart of a servant leader. She loved being a volunteer for Rebuilding Houston, Volunteer Pasadena, Catholic charities, Strawberry Festival, Houston Food Bank, and the Junior Rodeo Committee at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. "I have various social media platforms that continue to grow (currently at 25k followers)," she says. "I'm excited and motivated to see how I can help positively influence others."

We asked Jennifer what some of her plans are now that she's graduated. "I'm looking forward to college life and spending time with friends," says Jennifer. "I'm also counting down to our rescheduled trip to Europe in July 2021! I've decided to attend the University of Houston-Downtown and later transfer out of state as for college. I'm interested in being a publicist or public relations specialist."

Below is just a few of the incredible images from Jennifer's Prom Queen session. G Photography sincerely wishes Jennifer all the best in the future!
