It's that time again. Calico Racing will be hosting the (now) Annual Purple 7k Run in Las Vegas. Last year was the first time many Prince fans came together to celebrate the Purple One. Hosted at Sunset Park runners will be taking to the track at 7:45 am with "Play In the Sunshine" giving them energy or 7:45 pm with "Under the Cherry Moon" howling the background. There's even a number of runners running both races in one day (that'll be my group).
I loved capturing these photos (while RUNNING), so no I probably won't place again. Of course, for an event such as this I'm just happy to be in such great company. Here's a few of the runners from last year's race.
